Is Clarity safe to use if my partner might check my phone or browser?
Every page of Clarity has a safe exit button — a single click immediately redirects to a neutral website using browser history replacement, so the back button won't return to Clarity. We recommend using a private browser tab and a device your partner doesn't have access to.
Will the AI make a diagnosis or tell me I'm being abused?
No. Clarity names behaviours — it does not diagnose people or situations. Witness tells you what a behaviour resembles based on established definitions, not what your situation definitively is. You are always in control of what gets confirmed as a pattern in your record.
Do I need the other person to be on the platform?
No. Clarity is designed for solo use. Unlike OurFamilyWizard and AppClose, you can build your entire record alone. The other party is never notified or involved unless you choose to use the Family Channel add-on.
Are my records admissible in court?
The Pro tier generates certified timestamped records designed to meet business records standards. However, Clarity does not provide legal advice, and admissibility depends on jurisdiction and how records are presented. We strongly recommend discussing your situation with a qualified family law attorney.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data remains accessible for 90 days after cancellation, during which you can export everything. After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time from your account settings. We do not sell or share your data.
